Get to know Jordan
Jordan Westerkamp is a former professional football player and a ISSA-CPT who serves as the Director of Sports Performance at Major Sports Performance. Along with his certifications, his extensive background in training at an elite level serves our athletes well. He has been a great motivator and role model for our young athletes. Jordan attended Montini Catholic High School in Lombard, Illinois and played his collegiate career at the University of Nebraska. He served as the team captain in both his junior and senior seasons. He had multiple all Big Ten honors including 1st team All-Big Ten 2015. He went on to play in several professional leagues including the NFL, CFL, and XFL.
In his free time, Jordan continues to lift weights and run sprints and most enjoys spending time with his close-knit family and his fiancé, Cristina.

Why is health and fitness so important to you?
From the athletes perspective, what we put into our bodies will have a direct effect on how we perform. Whether it's a game or practice, we need the right fuel to allow us to maximize our performance. Health and fitness go hand in hand, and when we do it right, nothing can stop us.
Are you a juice or smoothie type of person?
I enjoy both juices and smoothies!

Enjoy catching 80s cover band concerts downtown in the warm summer air!
What's on your playlist right now?
My playlist is versatile. If I'm working out I listen to 80s rock. If I'm just relaxing I listen to everything ranging from rock to alternative. Lots of oldies!
